Member Spotlight: Dara Leinweber, Jewish Federation and Children’s Service
Dara has been with JFCS for nearly 5 years as a case manager in IFS working with Vulnerable Adults (18-64). She is committed to helping people who are struggling with life’s challenges. She begins her relationship with clients by understanding and documenting what they need. The next step is to help them build plans to master the tasks of everyday life and survival as well as plans to make the transitions that will make their lives better. She provides continued support as they implement their dreams to move forward. Dara is there to follow-up and adjust individual programs when needed. And she is a bridge to life supports and resources that help people to perform the daily activities so many of us take for granted.
At JFCS, she works with government agencies and community-based organizations that support adults with special needs, healthcare and education as well as trauma and loss. She is currently assigned to JFCS’s new Hoarding Program.
